The Company is a specialty pharmacy with a focus on infused and injected products. It was started by a husband and wife team who had grown the business very successfully for more than a decade.

Transaction Overview:

Due to the public profile of one of the owners, confidentiality was of the highest importance. Trestle worked with the Company to scope a process that was targeted to ensure confidentiality but included a mix of both highly qualified strategic suitors and healthcare focused equity sponsors.

Results:

The process resulted in multiple proposals from both strategic suitors and equity sponsors. The Company ultimately chose an offer from a strategic acquiror that was in the process of filing for an initial public stock offering. The owners received compensation both in the form of cash and in pre-IPO stock that held significant potential for growth once the acquiring company went public.
